i used to think i loved old homes. especially the 1940-50's era.
then i found out just how expensive their "charm" really is.
faulty pipes and no insulation are just the beginning of our little home's character.
our plumber prefaced his diagnosis yesterday with: "so...how much longer do you guys plan on living here?".
uh, i don't know. maybe forever.
it was a sad, sad day for the 'ole homestead.
