birthdays at our house are easy.
extremely low key with last minute party invites.
i like to maintain a low level of expectation from the people around me,
which means i rarely do big or fancy.
but this year i gave it that extra effort,
wrapping his gift in actual "happy birthday" paper instead of a leftover christmas one.
no one seemed to notice any difference.
