it's time to swap

Flour will be at the anticipated Fraser Fields Swap next weekend with select shop items and some new unseen finds.

we're going to make it simple and cheap.

2 clothing racks of our finest duds, 2 prices: $25 and $50.

and who would i be without a giveaway: all participating swappers will have the chance to enter our raffle on the night of the swap for the chance to win any single flour item, of winner's choice, from inventory available at swap.

one of the best things i've ever done for myself was lasik eye surgery. hands down. it's life changing.
but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't in the least bit envious of my four eyed friends who get to take advantage of the oversized frames trend without me. - wearing a pair with clear lenses just feels a little impractical after shelling out money to have my eyesight fixed.
so i've been hoarding some of my favorites for a while now. not using, just hoarding. in a box tucked away, never sure what i was actually going to do with them.
i'm ready to part with them and embrace my 20/20 vision.


in midstate shop this week. 3-5 pairs.
will be listing the rest throughout the remainder of the year.
modeled by my lovely sister inlaw. because midstate/flour  is a team effort. and let's get serious, i have adult acne.

beating like moth's wings

blessing day.
jonah wore a simple shirtdress i made from a simple fabric that reminds me of sitting cross legged on the floor in a friend's home as a child, playing chutes and ladders after school. -- i think it was the bed skirt or maybe the window treatment that was a perfect white eyelet.
worlds colliding, both of our families lined the back four pews at church. there are a lot of us and baby girl is lucky to have so many who love her already.
it was a happy day and a welcomed calm that doesn't seem to happen near enough.
